Camp Seven does it again with another all mountain snowboard package to get even the most novice rider out cruising down the mountain. The new and upgraded version of the 2022 Valdez board was specifically paired with the Summit bindings and APX boots to provide perfect synergy.
The Valdez has received an upgraded design which implements a stiffer nose and tail to plow through rough conditions. The CRCX (camber rocker camber) profile with the rocker in the center allows for a catch free ride and easy floating over thick powder while the camber in the tip and tail allow for some extra pop and control. Construction of the board consists of DD2 with Edgelock, which is Camp Seven's most popular and lightest weight dual density DD2 core. There are no cheap materials used in this board despite its affordable price. Hand selected Poplar runs tip to tail with high density stringers running down the edge of the board to provide an incredibly strong rail. The rails are then fully wrapped and hardened thanks to the Rockwell 48 edges. Being such a strong rail this board is superior on tough snow and icy conditions.
Camp Seven Summit bindings are designed for extreme comfort thanks to the EVA base pad running the full length and provide just as good of control with the gel insert contoured straps. The toe strap can be fit for toe strap style or over the forefoot giving the bindings a customize-able fit. Fully adjustable dual sided on the fly straps make buckling and unbuckling a breeze thanks to the cam cleats on both the toe and ankle straps. Lastly, the footbed is anatomically correct which allows for great performance in any style of snowboarding.
The System APX boots are classic snowboarding boots with lace and metal hooks to be tied tight for a snug fit. Boot size fits true to shoe size. These boots provide great durability thanks to the Thermofit heat moldable liners, while the articulated cuffs provide easy flex. The quality material will ensure a long lifespan.
Overall the Camp Seven 2022 Valdez snowboard package is a great place to either start your snowboarding journey or take it to the next level. This board is built to last season after season, so no need to be out there shopping for a new setup every couple of years.
